Hair care mean using the correct hair products. Poor hair care practices such as using too much mousse, gel and hairspray can dry hair out and make it look dull. Hair care also means less blow-drying, perming and straightening as these can do unfixable damage.

Best hair care means taking care of your hair with proper hair products. Hair is happiest and looks its best when it is well taken care of. Firstly, the much-neglected art of brushing and combing should become part of your hair-care routine. Brushing removes the dead skin from your scalp, distributes oil evenly over hair shaft and gets lots of blood surging through the capillaries in your scalp to help promote hair care. So, optimal hair care calls for a thoroughly brushing at least once a week.

Which hair products will be the best for me? This depends on your individual hair type. But be at ease with the fact that there are now alot of different shampoos, conditioners and hair styling products suitable for each respective hair types.

Hair care in terms of shampooing can be really easy. Hair shampoos can be divided into categories to help make hair care easier.

Hair products such as plain shampoos simply wash dirt and excess oil out of hair. They have no special ingredients. They are good for occasional use for normal or oily hair, but they don’t have any conditioning for hair care. They are however especially good for cutting through conditioner buildup.

Conditioning shampoos don’t just clean but try to improve the quality of hair care. It may have added proteins, silk, balsam, lemon, milk, birch, honey, herbs etc to help increase sterength, shine, volume, bounce and flexibility. Experimenting with these will help your hair care routine, but the main thing to watch out for is buildup. Salon products usually consist of conditioning shampoos, hence remember to wash the hair shampoos off thoroughly.

Baby shampoos have a particularly low concentration of detergent. They’re good for thin, fine hair but may not have enough cleaning power for a fuller head of hair. Also, they don’t have conditioning power to complement a good hair care routine too.

Shampoos for damaged and chemically treated hair have lots of moisturizing proteins and low pH, which is a good and gentle thing for hair. So, to complete an excellent hair care routine: Wet hair, then apply small amount of shampoo and gently massage into the roots using the pads of your fingertips; never use your nails. Pay special care to hairline area where make-up and dirt can become trapped. Allow later to work its way to the ends of hair. Don't rub vigorously or you will stretch the hair and damage the hair. Rinse thoroughly when you have finished shampooing until the water runs clear, and hair is clean from dirt and shampoo then.

Finally, blot hair with a towel to remove excess water before conditioning. There you go, hair care at its best - clean hair in a matter of minutes with the right hair products!
